Datacenter & Equipment
MNA Host, houses its own equipment
in one of the UK's leading datacenter's, RedBus
Interhouse in London. All MNA's servers are no less
than Dual P3’s; with at least 512mb RAM and
120 gb Hard Drives.
The datacenter's infrastructure, is
truly world class, with the latest gas-based fire protection
systems, specialised heat and smoke sensors, raised
flooring, and diverse power supplies with diesel
back up generators. The data floor is kept at a
constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative
humidity is kept at 50% ± 10%. The facility
operates computerised building management systems
that monitor and remotely operate sensors covering
electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak
detection systems. Security is a key feature, with
visual identification being needed to access the
data floor, and also access is limited via individually
programmed Proximity Access Cards (PAC), usage of
the PAC is logged centrally by time and date.
MNA Host has access
to over 25 different fibre providers, due to the
fact all RedBus locations are connected via dark
fibre connections. We are currently utilising two
of those, Claranet and Easynet. We have at present
a redundant 100 mbit link to Claranet, who in turn
are connected to LINX (London Internet Exchange)
via multiple Gig'E connections. We are also connected
to Easynet via a 100 mbit link, which are again
in turn connected to LINX via multiple Gig'E connections.
Our network is Cisco powered and all connections
are in an OSPF, BGP4 routing mix to guarantee speed
and redundancy. We boast dual, independent UK routes,
from our network centre, with full LINX routes and
unrivalled international routes, through Metro Fibre.
